My wife used this to make a personalized wedding album for her parents. Not so very expensive, either.

PC Magazine has a recent review of it.

[Court Room Conversations]

Hilarious courtroom exchanges. Sample:

ATTORNEY: Doctor, before you performed the autopsy, did you check for a pulse?
WITNESS: No.
ATTORNEY: Did you check for blood pressure?
WITNESS: No.
ATTORNEY: Did you check for breathing?
WITNESS: No.
ATTORNEY: So, then it is possible that the patient was alive when you began the autopsy?
WITNESS: No.
ATTORNEY: How can you be so sure, Doctor?
WITNESS: Because his brain was sitting on my desk in a jar.
ATTORNEY: But could the patient have still been alive, nevertheless?
WITNESS: Yes, it is possible that he could have been alive and practicing law.

[Cut Losses Quickly To Preserve Your Cash]

[...]Investors holding on in hopes of a quick turnaround should remember the cardinal rule of CAN SLIM investing: Always sell when a stock drops 7% or 8% below your purchase price. No exceptions.

Why sell so quickly? So you can survive to invest another day.

Protecting capital should top every investor's priority list. It takes discipline, particularly when you've worked hard to research a stock.

You might be tempted to ride out a loss in the hopes of making your money back. But market history is rich with examples of stocks that crushed portfolios when investors failed to cut losses quickly.

InstallPad (for automatically installing software):

Downloading the latest versions of your favorite programs is a tiring task, especially on a fresh installation of Windows. Navigating through the mess of websites and download links is frustrating, waiting for the installers to download is boring, and running each one separately is annoying.

Microsoft Visual Studio 2005 Tools for the Microsoft Office System (VSTO 2005)
What do an investor, a trader and a gambler have in common? Hans Wagner argues that an investor, trader, and gambler are similar because they have rules they operate by. I'd like to say there is a larger similarity, perhaps in the content of the rules, but Wagner is not making that claim as fas as I can see.

Important elements are:
  • money management
  • conserving capital / cutting losses
  • the importance of temperament / personality
  • finding good trades
    Fundamentals agree with technicals.
